Imagine your wedding amongst a setting of beauty that includes…

  • 185-acres of natural beauty, including forests, prairies, ponds, and bluffs
  • Magnificent views of the Lake Michigan shoreline
  • Our award-winning, green building

Whether you opt to be indoors or outdoors, all of our venues will provide an inspiring backdrop for your special occasion.

Our guests say it best…

“Thank you so much to everyone in your organization. Our wedding last weekend was absolutely magical! What a fantastic place to get married – it looked so beautiful. I think I received nearly as many compliments on the location as I did on my dress. You and everyone else there have been incredibly kind and helpful and it’s been a pleasure working with you.”

Schlitz Audubon’s sustainable Gold LEED certified Educational Center is situated on 185 acres along the shores of Lake Michigan, just 10 miles north of downtown Milwaukee. We have 6 miles of trails for hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and a 60-foot observation tower overlooking Lake Michigan. We are a proud partner of National Audubon, working together in the areas of education and avian conservation.

If after reading this article you recognize that you have Dame's Rocket in your garden and would like to remove it, here's some advice from our Director of Conservation.
"Hand-pulling eliminates seed production and removes the parent plant as well. It’s important to pull out as much of the root as possible and to bag and remove all parts of the plant that might otherwise produce viable seed."
